Why isn't my story showing on the site?
a. Your story isn't yet published. If you've just written and saved your story you may not have published it yet. Click on the My Stories link and check your story is shown as "published", if the story isn't published follow the wizard and your story will then appear on the site.
b. Processing of your story may have to finish. Certain actions on Storyimp take a short time to process, check the page again in 30 seconds.
c. If your story still isn't showing on the Storyimp site please use the Feedback form to contact us. Please be sure to write down what you were doing at the time.
My story doesn't fit one of Storyimp's genre?
If you think your story fits into a genre that Storyimp doesn't list, please use the Feedback form to contact us and make a suggestion for a new genre!
My picture wont upload?
a. The file size of your image may be too large. Please make sure the image your are trying to upload is under 5 Megabyte (5Mb) in file size.
b. Currently the only formats accepted by Storyimp are JPEG (.jpg) or PNG (.png) files.
How do I get my friends into Storyimp?
Send them to the site! Your friends can get into the beta a number of ways, the easiest being sending them to the homepage where they can begin the invite wizard. They'll join our queue and get sent an invite as one becomes available.
Send them an invite yourself. This function is still in alpha testing and will be rolled out to beta users soon, look out for a news post.
I can monetize Storyimp?
Yes you can! You can monetize Storyimp in a number of ways;
a. Amazon product links. Add links to products on Amazon' stores to your profile and story pages and you earn a percentage of the sale. *Amazon account required.
b. Google Adsense adverts. Add a large Google advert to your profile and story pages to capture search traffic. *Google Adsense account required.
More ways to monetize and publicize your work are added all the time, be sure you're getting the most from your stories!
