This project started out as a short story begun a couple of years ago, with this piece hopefully becoming Chp 2 of a first (historical) novel entitled 'Finn's Journey'. you have any comments etc on this or my other chps and work then I would love to hear from you and in turn will only be too-happy to do the same for your writing.

Set in Ireland in 1918, this is the story of two brothers caught up in the revolutionary turmoil of Ireland's War of Independence, as told by the younger, surviving sibling and main character, ‘Finn’, in his self-styled ‘jail journal’.
In this first chapter, Fin describes in detail a journey writ large in his memory, a recent ‘bike-ride’, which in turn sparks further memories, insightful here in revealing both brother’s shared history, as Fin races onwards to his as yet undisclosed location...
