Hot soup ladled slowly,
Slow mouthfuls when voice is taken, 
Eat full of mouth, expressing nourishment beyond.

Three courses with this meal I do take,
Bread roll, soup starter beyond apple pie and custard,
Life shows endless possibilities…
Smiley faces, pleasant evenings,
‘Thank you, call again!’ sign on the door.

Short but un-intrusive song plays,
Arousing the simplicities of life,
With strong words from one so young.

Scientific approach, clinical yet
fundamentally incorrect by design,
Inspiration-less motion forward,
Looking like a script called verse.
